      • The blade remains

The blade has remained in great shape but like my other three automatics, the starts to stick and doesn’t fully or close. You have to pull the blade out when it doesn’t close correctly. Other than that the knife system is aggressively designed to provide instant access to a shape knife. I use the free sharpening and it takes some time but the results are amazing.

      • Deployment Knife

I got knife before I deployed and use it for everything. The Grivory material it is made of is very light weight and durable, and the blade has yet to dull even when used daily. O have big hands and it fits perfectly in them. The only thing I've seen Is some people I know that have weaker hands struggle with the double actions, but they get it eventually.

      • Claymore OTF

This is one amazing OTF! Very lightweight and great steel, it comes extremely sharp out of the box. The only thing I had a problem with was the actuator button, it was very stiff to open and close. In all accounts though it is a great OTF!

        HOW IT'S MADE

Every Benchmade knife begins with high-grade steel, laser-cut for precision and strength. Each blade is meticulously ground, beveled, and finished to exacting standards, ensuring exceptional performance and durability. Our handles are milled and machined in-house to the tightest tolerances, then hand-assembled and sharpened by expert technicians. With over thirty years of manufacturing excellence behind every edge, our knives are proudly crafted in our state-of-the-art facility in Oregon City, Oregon.

        USE & CARE

Proper care and regular maintenance help make your Benchmade knife yours, for life. Here are some tips for keeping your Benchmade in peak condition:

        • Prevent Rust:All steels, regardless of grade or price, can eventually rust. To avoid corrosion, always keep your knife clean, dry, and lightly lubricated. If rust or spotting appears, a quality semi-chrome metal polish can usually restore the finish.

        • Hand-Wash Only:Always hand-wash your knife with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry thoroughly.

        • Use as Intended: Benchmade knives are precision cutting tools. Do not use your knife as a pry-bar, screwdriver, chisel, or punch—unless specifically designed for those functions.

        • Sharpen with Care:If sharpening at home, avoid grinding wheels and high-speed machinery, as they can damage the blade. Use appropriate hand-sharpening methods for best results.

        • Tighten Hardware:Over time, handle, pivot, and pocket clip screws may loosen. Use T6 and T10 Torx drivers for adjustments and apply a small amount of releasable thread-locker to maintain secure fittings.
